If your clinic closed or is closing
Your clinic closed. Your recovery doesn’t have to stop.
Losing your provider is stressful — especially when you rely on medication to stay steady. Triad Behavioral Resources can pick up your care with a virtual visit, often the same day you call.
- ✓ Same-day appointments available
- ✓ Help continuing your treatment
- ✓ Medicaid, Medicare & many plans accepted
- ✓ 100% virtual — all NC counties
You don’t have to start over
The progress you’ve made is still yours.
When a clinic closes, patients are often left with a few days of medication and no one to call. If that’s where you are, call us and tell us how much medication you have left. We’ll verify your insurance, request your records from your previous clinic if you’d like, and get you in front of one of our prescribers as quickly as we can.
If you were also being treated for depression, anxiety, or another mental health condition alongside substance use, our care team treats co-occurring conditions too.
We’re a North Carolina practice, built for North Carolina communities, and we’ve been delivering virtual addiction care across the state for years.
Our promise to you
What you can count on.
Here’s what to expect from us from day one.
Continuing your treatment
Our prescribers treat opioid use disorder with buprenorphine (including Suboxone) and other FDA-approved medications. After your evaluation, your provider will work with you on the treatment that’s right for you.
Harm reduction, always
We don’t punish setbacks. Recovery isn’t a straight line, and our care team knows that. You will never be discharged for a relapse.
Virtual visits from home
No waiting rooms. No drives across the county. All appointments happen on your phone or computer, on your schedule.
Counseling & peer support
Licensed counselors and peer recovery specialists who understand your journey — because some of them have lived it.
Confidential & private
Your care is confidential. We don’t share it with anyone without your permission, except where the law requires.
Insurance accepted
We accept Medicaid (including Healthy Blue), Medicare, TRICARE, and other plans, and we’ll verify your coverage before your first visit. Self-pay options are available.
Getting started
Simple. We made it that way on purpose.
We know starting somewhere new can feel like a lot of work. Here’s what it actually looks like.
- 1
Give us a call or request a callback
Our team picks up. You can also select Enroll Now and we’ll reach you at a time that works. No hold music, no call centers.
- 2
Quick 15-minute intake
We’ll gather some basic information and verify your insurance. If you have records from your previous clinic you’d like us to review, we can request those too.
- 3
Meet your provider — same day if possible
A virtual visit with one of our prescribers, often the same day you call. If you’re currently on medication, tell us — your provider will review your history and decide next steps with you, working to avoid a gap in your treatment.
- 4
We build your plan together
You’ll connect with your care team and set a recovery plan that fits your life — not a template.
All treatment, including any prescription, is based on an evaluation by a licensed provider.
“TBR has helped me through my recovery. Most clinics sort of feel cold and uncaring — TBR is different. You can really tell they care. They treat you like a person, not just an addict.”
