Triad Behavioral Resources is headed by David Bolton. David has been working with adolescents, children and families since 1982, and specializes in working with depression and mood disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, domestic violence, and addictions.
Since 2005, David has been providing in-office treatment for the addiction of opioids using the new medication Suboxone. Triad Behavioral Resources is licensed as an Outpatient Detoxification Program and is was the first clinic in Greensboro, NC to use this innovative form of treatment.
Over his career, David has treated clients in outpatient, residential treatment and psychiatric inpatient settings. He has conducted groups for adolescents and adults for the last fifteen years, and provides expert testimony and witnessing for the courts. David has provided training for therapists, legal and medical professionals, social service and educational professionals as well as probation and parole officers.
David conducts workshops regionally on topics including: Emotional Intelligence, Addictions and Emotional Intelligence, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in children and adolescents; Conflict Resolution; Sexualized Adolescent Treatment; Group Therapy with Adolescents.
David has served as a board member for the North Carolina Women’s Committee on Substance Abuse, and is a member of the American Counseling Association, the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, and the National Board of Certified Counselors. He was the first Ethics Committee Chair for the Licensed Professional counselor’s Assoc. of NC. He is a trainer for the North Carolina Psychological Association’s Disaster Response Network, and participated in Disaster Response efforts with hurricane Katrina through the Greensboro chapter of the American Red Cross.
