Evaluation & Assessment
Evaluations for both adolescents and adults are conducted at the request of clients, attorneys and/or the court. Evaluations conducted include:

  • Diagnostic and treatment recommendations for mental illnesses, including Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Personality Disorders, and Attention Deficit Disorders.
  • Substance abuse disorders and addiction issues
  • Disability Determination and Assessment
  • Work related trauma
  • Custody Evaluation
  • Sexual Offender Specific Evaluation (SOSE)
  • Adolescent Sexual Offender Assessment
  • Expert Witnessing & Testimony
    Clients can request witness testimony when required to appear in court. The therapist/evaluator serves to present evaluation and assessment data accurately and effectively. Members of our staff have testified as expert witness in over 400 cases in District, Superior, and Federal Courts, and have over 50 years of combined clinical experiences serving as legal consultants.

    Individual and Outpatient Sessions
    Substance abuse and related disorders affect nearly every person in our society. Whether suffering from as substance abuse problems themselves, or a family member of someone dealing with a substance abuse issue, TBR offers both adult and adolescent services designed to offer hope for all persons dealing directly or indirectly with the negative effects of a substance abuse disorder. After a comprehensive assessment process, individuals seeking assistance may be directed to either group or individual counseling sessions. With a combined 40 years of experience in the field of substance abuse treatment between the Directors of TBR, we are able to competently address the myriad of issues that present when an individual reaches out for help in dealing with the difficulties of addressing substance abuse disorders.

    Addiction Continuing Care and Evaluation Sessions (ACCES)
    These individual sessions are designed to help those persons who have successfully completed the transition from active use into a drug and alcohol free lifestyle, but continue to experience difficulty with life transitions and emotional interactions. Sometimes known as Stage Two Recovery Issues, most recovering alcoholics and drug addicts find themselves handicapped in the areas of self-esteem, intimacy, and lifestyle balance. Conducted by a Director of TBR, ACCES are for those persons seeking to enjoy a richly meaningful sobriety that allows them to experience the full benefits of recovery.
